Privacy Policy.
Effective date: [to be set on publication]. Draft pending final review.
Next Level Coaching (“NLC”, “we”, “us”) respects your privacy and is committed to protecting your personal data. This policy explains how we collect, use, store and protect your information when you use our website, create an account, or purchase our products. By using our services, you agree to this policy.
NLC is based in Malta and is the data controller for your personal data. You can contact us at info@nextlevelcoaching.gg.
1.Information we collect
- Your name and email address, when you subscribe to a guide or newsletter, or when you sign in.
- Sign-in information. When you log in with Google or Discord we receive your name, email, profile image and a unique account identifier. We never receive or store your password.
- Purchase history, such as the products you buy and the amount paid. Payments are processed by Stripe and we never see or store your card details.
- Account activity needed to give you access to your purchases.
- Usage and behaviour data through analytics tools (see section 8), such as pages visited, how far you scroll, and general interactions. This helps us understand what to improve.
2.How we use your information
- To create and manage your account and give you access to your purchases. Legal basis: performance of a contract.
- To process payments and keep records required by law. Legal basis: contract and legal obligation.
- To send you the guides, tips and newsletters you signed up for. Legal basis: your consent, which you can withdraw at any time.
- To understand how the site is used and improve it. Legal basis: your consent for the analytics cookies described in section 8.
We do not use your data for resale or unsolicited marketing.
3.Who we share your data with
We do not sell, rent or trade your personal data. We share limited data only with the trusted providers that run our service:
- Vercel, for website hosting and privacy-friendly analytics.
- Neon, for our database, hosted in the European Union.
- Stripe, for payment processing.
- Resend, for sending emails.
- Titan, for our email inbox.
- Google and Discord, if you choose to sign in with them.
- Microsoft Clarity and PostHog, for analytics, and only if you accept analytics cookies.
Some providers may process data outside the European Economic Area, such as in the United States. Where that happens they rely on legal safeguards such as the European Commission’s standard contractual clauses.
4.Data storage and security
We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your data, including secure servers, encrypted connections and restricted access. However, no system is completely secure, and by using our services you acknowledge this risk.
5.Data retention
We keep your personal data only as long as necessary to provide your purchases, comply with legal and tax obligations, resolve disputes and enforce our terms, typically up to six years for financial records. Subscriber emails are kept until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete them.
6.Account deletion
You can request deletion of your account at any time by contacting us. Deleting your account permanently removes access to all purchases, cannot be undone, and no refunds are issued upon deletion.
7.Marketing emails
If you sign up for our guides or newsletter, we will send you related emails. Every email includes an unsubscribe link, and we stop emailing anyone who opts out.
8.Cookies and analytics
We use a small number of essential cookies that are needed for the site to work: a sign-in session cookie so you stay logged in, and a guide unlock cookie so you do not have to re-enter your email. These do not require consent.
We also use analytics tools to understand how the site is used:
- Vercel Analytics, which is cookieless and does not identify you. It always runs.
- Microsoft Clarity (heatmaps and anonymised session recordings) and PostHog (usage and funnel analytics). These use cookies, so they only load after you accept via our cookie banner. If you decline, they are never loaded.
You can change or withdraw your choice at any time:
9.Your rights
Under the GDPR you have the right to access your data, correct it, delete it, restrict or object to its use, receive a copy of it, and withdraw your consent at any time. To exercise these rights, email info@nextlevelcoaching.gg. If you believe we have mishandled your data, you have the right to complain to the Maltese supervisory authority, the Information and Data Protection Commissioner (idpc.org.mt).
10.Children's information
Our service is intended for users aged 16 and over. We do not knowingly collect data from children under this age. If you believe a child has provided personal data, contact us and we will remove it.
11.Changes to this policy
We may update this policy at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date.
